Fuelgauge driving

Hello, in advance i drive no rx8. I am a private simbuilder.
I use for my project a rx8 tacho which I control with arduino and canbus.
But, i have a problem with the fuel gauge.

I found the following information here in the forum.

However, the new resistance values are read when the unit is switched off and on again. When turning the poti during the operation nothing happens. Actually should be the needle up or down.

Any Ideas ?
