So I will start out by saying that I don't believe my car is truely overheating, but I feel it is getting close, if that makes sense. I knew back when I bought the car I wanted to do reliability mods first, I.E. remedy waterpump, bhr coils, csf radiator, oem thermostat, sohn adaptor, rx8performance fan comtrol kit and a de-cat off the top of my head for reliability/cooling mods that i have installed, along with other mods I have not under those specifications. Now that ive explained that, I'll get on to my delema. Being that I'm up in the new england area, its cooling off a lot now, but my car still seems to have a hard time running at normal temps and saying constant. When i commute to work i usually take it very easy being that's there's construction, stop and go traffic, etc. I usually only get on it when I have a large open area and plenty of time to shut it down/cool it off a little. But in very normal driving situations when I have to stop and go and idle in traffic, the fans always seem to be going full blast and when I get to work they run for at least 10 to 15 seconds plus sometimes when I turn the car off. Im not sure if im over reacting and the car might actually be fine, but its always worried me and wasnt sure if other people have had any experiences like this.
Insight on possible overheating issue?
