I am looking at doing the modified Renesis engine build when I take my engine down for a rebuild. I can't seem to find it this morning, but it is the Renesis + 13B Hybrid with both exhaust ports (perp & MSP) with that sexy stainless steel welded mani.
I expect this to be a several year build judging by my rate of bullshit spillage in my life. I did have some quick questions that I think will be easy to answer.
For the Irons (Rotor Chambers), if the FD improved over the FC? I have a 13B FC NA S5 or S4 engine that needs a rebuild, but it was free! So far as I can tell someone didn't change the number 1 rotor plugs and it "seized" Well I un-seized it and if they didn't cut off all the harness it would run right now. Getting an FD Engine would be an added expense, so could I sneek by with the FC engine's parts for the hybrid. (Obviously I will need the guts from a Renesis too.....) I would rather save that extra bit of money for getting it done right, but if I am cutting a corner that shouldn't be cut ill find a FD3S that found the back of a pole somehow.
That is actually all I have for now, but I am sure I have more questions later.
