I had to create a new account as my old one did not let me post for some reason even though I had not used it for a few years I always did make legit post so no clue.
I am running into a problem bleeding my clutch and hope someone can help me out. I just changed my clutch in my 04 rx8 as the throwout bearing went out on me. I put everything back together and ran into an issue bleeding the clutch. I had a buddy pump the clutch several time and hold it to the floor. I then open the valve and fluid rushes out but only for like 1-2 seconds or so. Then no more fluid comes out of the valve even though he is holding the clutch down. The cap is off and the reservoir is full. Each time I make this attempt it sticks to the floor. After 5 pumps it comes up on its own but when I open the valve to bleed it fluid just comes out for a second or two then stops flowing and the clutch is back to the floor.
Am I missing something here? Any help is greatly appreciated as I am at a loss here.
