Really need help from the group. I just replaced the clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing, and pilot bearing. It shifts smooth and great, but theres a rattle. I got under the car and I believe it's the clutch fork. There was a little wiggle to it, so I pushed on the slave cylinder pushrod and was able to push it in with my finger. Should I be able to do this? I got back in the car and was able to pump the clutch pedal, which was now on the floor and got the pressure back in it so the pushrod was back pushing against the clutch fork. But I was able to push the rod in with my finger again. I'm fairly certain this is not normal, but I'm not sure if I need to replace the clave cylinder or the clutch master cylinder. I replaced both last year.
Last question, should there be a little play in the clutch fork without pressure on it from the slave cylinder? I'm pretty sure that this is the rattle I hear when the pushrod isn't hold pressure against the fork.
Thank you in advance to whoever can help. I dropped a bunch of money in her this year and being that it's the wife's car, she really wants to drive her.
