Caps Turbo Build

samedi 7 mars 2015

So I bought dolpho69's greddy kit listed here:

My original plan was to REW swap and that is still my end game, however I've decided to put my efforts toward a house first and the turbo seemed like a more viable option for the time being especially at that price. I plan on making a daily 270-280whp which I know I still have a lot to do/get/learn about to achieve.

I already have:

Adaptronic Select

Cobb Accessport

BHR midpipe

Innovative Motorsports AFR guage

BHR ignition

Air pump removed

I need/want:

Upgraded radiator

Larger fuel injectors

Fuel pump

Boost, egt, oil pressure, oil temp, coolant temp sensors/guages

Oil filter relocation (SARX? 9K a little info perhaps?)

Second engine (I'm on my original 04 at 78k though still running strong)

Boost controller

Oil pressure regulator

Upgraded/rebuilt turbo

Shelldudes Adaptive tuner

I expect I'll be spending an additional 1500 or so for these parts (not including engine obviously) and miscellaneous mods.

I've read the major horsepower stickies, greddy kit stickies, many of the builds, and bought a couple of Kane's recommended tuning books, but my eyes have not yet begun to bleed so I will be in them more and more before I officially begin this project. I had hoped to have this done before DGRR this year, but I dont think that's realistic.
