Hey guys. I have an audio question. I have a SII GT, which means it has the Bose system in it. Has anyone tried to take it all out? Like the amps, wiring, speakers, and headunit? Most if not all of the threads I have read on SII audio projects involve hooking amps, speakers, and subs in with the Bose system. I just want to make sure taking it all out wont cause any electrical issues.
Here is what I am planning on putting in:
JVC KW-V52BT 7" touch screen headunit
9" to 6.5" speaker bracket for front
Possibly 6x9 to 6.5 speaker bracket for rear
6.5" component speakers in front (haven't decided what yet, several in mind)
either a 6x9 coax or 6.5" component in rear
Possibly replace the center with a 3-4" coax center speaker
2 Bazooka 10" subs (depending on space)
3 Kenwood amps to drive front, rear, and subs.
Depending on what my final power draw will be, I might through a cap on there.
I plan on getting the Metra dash kit and wiring harnesses too.
Any insights would be welcome.
