After driving for a while, my 8 seems to be limiting clutch slip.
For example:
start car in the morning, wait for it to get to 190F coolant temp and I can do some great starts at 3.5k RPM. I get pushed back into my seat with limited slipping of the clutch.
after driving for about an hour, the clutch feels completely different. The same muscle memory used for getting a good start now feels as though I'm dropping the clutch too early and the car stutters. In order to get the same start as the morning I have to do a almost 2x as long clutch release.
I know I have a problem with my throwout bearing and possibly slave/master cylinder. I plan on replacing all these items soon but am wondering if there's anything I'm overlooking? Is there a clutch fan that's possibly going bad as well?
