Bose system removal, wiring help.

samedi 26 septembre 2015

Hi, so i've spent the last couple of days trying to find answers to my wiring questions and have had no luck. I'm planning on doing a bose removal of the front speakers/amps and the rear bose amp. I have infinity kappas i'm putting in all around, 2 JL 12" subs, and 2 4-channel amps. I also have a kenwood touch screen with the metra kit installed.

Here is my desired speaker setup...
Front door speakers will have adapters made to fit the infinity kappa speakers.
Rear speakers will be the 6x9 infinity speakers
2 Subs in the back.

I already have the subs installed and 1 amp with RCAs from the radio to the amp, but the RCAs are from a subwoofer specific slot on the radio.

The 4-channel amps have wiring as followed

L+, L-, R+, R- (Front)
L+, L-, R+, R- (Rear)
^-------------^ Bridged 500w
Phoenix Gold V754 (pg-v754) 1000W Max, 4-Channel Amplifier (Rival)
What i want to do is use an amp for each sub to minimize heat produced by high work loads.

Here is where i'm stumped, my amps have speaker level input connectors and i'm not sure what they're for. There is one for front and one for back on each amp. There is wiring for left and right speakers and a ground. Do i wire my speaker wires from the radio to the speaker input connectors in the amp, then run power from the amp to the speakers? Or do i make it 1 big cluster of wiring connections to the speaker?

What i was thinking is to cut the wires for the bose amp in the back and use that as my speaker level input wires instead of running them through the entire car. Then for my fronts just run the power from the amp to the speakers and through the door. But this could be totally wrong since i don't know where the tweeters get their power.

Any help is appreciated, please keep all stupid comments to yourself unless you want to fund my project.
