Is there a better 2 cycle oil that you don't have to order?

Was just curious. Is there a good 2 cycle oil to use as premix? I read all of RIWWP's sticky about 2 cycle oils, the only problem is most (if not all) of those oils have to be ordered. Is there anything that I can buy locally that will serve just as well? Also, can I use that same 2 cycle oil in a sohn adapter or is something specific required? Thanks.

(Sorry if I sound clueless. Haha. Ive only had my 8 for a little under a year. Currently in college for automotive. I'm still learning.)
