OK, I have an auto car, and just bought a 4 port Manual engine from a JDM importer. I want to use the JDM 4 port engine parts to build a replacement motor as my auto 4 port ate an apex seal and I lost a housing and a rotor.
I would like to confirm the following: (Which I learned by searching)
I need to take off the flywheel and front counter balance from the manual engine and use the flexplate, front and rear counterbalance from my old engine in the final combination. Is this correct that the front counter balance needs to be changed?
I assume the Eshaft is the same in both engines, and that I can use the manual engine eshaft with the manual engine rotors. coupled with the other rotating bits paired for auto use.
Is it that simple? remember its going back in my Auto car, and I'm not revving to the moon.
