13b-running on msp ecu possible?

Well now that I can ask this this is something I've seriously wondered about. Would it be possible to run the 13b-re(w) off the rx8 ecu if you had say a custom intake manifold made with provisions for all the sensors,tubes,ect.? And then copied the 13b factory fuel/air/timing to make it run like it would off its regular ecu using something like an accesport? I don't own one yet it's just a theory I've been thinking about trying after my winter cars finished
