Up for sale is my 2005 Mazda RX8 GT. 57500 miles. May creep up a bit (50 to 100 miles per month). Adult owned vehicle. 2 owners, 5 years each. I'm the second owner. Purchased from an older retired veteran man in 2010 with 34,643 miles.

The car was never used was a daily driver by me or the previous owner. Used as a leisure vehicle, only driven 22,000 miles since purchased in 2010, and about 7000 miles since 2012. Mostly used on the highway.

Always garaged, well cared for, regular maintenance done at Classic Mazda since 2010. Never tracked, abused, or modified. Vehicle is completely stock, at the exception of a shorter throw shift kit + Aluminum shift **** (factory short throw shift kit + leather shift **** included with purchase).

Never used Armor All products anywhere inside or outside of the vehicle. No reconditioning needed inside or out. Main console, leather seats, and paint are all naturally clean and original. Vehicle has been lightly used all its life, ready to go. Runs flawlessly, doesn't need anything. Mint color with combo GT package, Leather seats, 6 Speed Manual Transmission, super low miles, well maintained. Asking: $12,500. Reasonable offers will be entertained.

Disclosure 1: front bumper has wear and tear from highway debris encountered + 3 other barely visible scuffs, all made and touched up by the 1st owner, and on wheel has slight scuffs.

Disclosure 2: Rear bumper has a small mark that was noticed a few months ago after parking in a public place during an outing. The entire rear bumper is clean / damage free, so this mark was likely caused by a passer by or someone trying to park close and not paying attention to my parked car.

Disclosure 3: Vehicle is currently equipped with external front and rear laser jammer sensors + cabin radar detector for police awareness because speeds in this car climb up quick. It doesn't always feel like the vehicle is moving above the speed limit. These items will not be included with the car, and will be removed before delivery. This is being disclosed now because the car is rarely but still somewhat used (20-50 miles per week at most), and if you happen to request a showing, these items will remain the car until the car it is sold and delivered.

Recent maintenance:

Just replaced Spark plugs, wires, coils and rear O2 sensors 300 or 400 miles ago. New battery installed 100 miles ago. Oil change performed about 1000 miles ago at Classic Mazda, window sticker says next oil change is due at 60,000 miles.

Recent full circle inspection (done at 56k miles) indicates:

⁃ Coolant recovery reservoir - OK
⁃ Transaxle, transfer case, clutch reservoir - OK
⁃ Engine oil - OK
⁃ Windshield condition - OK

⁃ Horn, interior and exterior lights
⁃ Cooling system - OK
⁃ No engine, exhaust, fluid leaks - OK
⁃ CV axles - OK
⁃ Exhaust system - OK
⁃ Drive Belts - OK
⁃ Sterring linkage / gearings - OK
⁃ Suspension - OK
⁃ Brake lines, hoses, parking brake - OK
⁃ Clutch operation - OK
⁃ Tires - OK (Current thread: 5/32)
⁃ Brake pads / linings - OK
⁃ No check engine lights - OK

The car is performing 100%, has full power, and does not need anything. There are no hot / cold start cranking issues or loss of power, never flooded, never had anything done other than oil changes, air filters, tune ups, and inspection services, therefore a compression test has not been ordered.

The Mazda dealer who maintains my car has never suggested I needed to get one done during servicing anytime they've had the car under their care because the car run flawlessly, cranks up fine, and has all its power. If you require a compression test to be done, I'm happy to order one and split the cost with you.
