Soooo, my motor blew up.... again. Yep, again.
About a month ago I was cruising down a small highway, after a red light turned green, I pressed the gas and went into 2nd gear and my car backfired and wouldn't accelerate. I pulled over, came to a complete stop and the car turned off on its own and wouldn't start back up.
With that being said, I got a BRAND NEW MOTOR. 0 MILES ON THE MOTOR! NEW! NEW! NEW!
Tonight I was on that same road, car backfired again, came to a stop at a red light, car turned off and wouldn't start back up.
SO WHAT THE **** IS GOING ON HERE?
Some facts
- I drive on a major highway every day for about 15 minutes going 65-70 mph on average.
- I drive on average 30 minutes before shutting it off.
- The new motor only has 301 miles on it.
- It is automatic.
- Regular oil was put in upon putting in new motor.
- I do have a borla exhaust. So I do rev it from time to time lol.
Before you say anything like "oh maybe it needs a new fuel injector" or "maybe your apex seals need to be replaced" NO! ALL OF THAT WAS JUST REPLACED 300 MILES AGO. A new motor means EVERYTHING WAS REPLACED. It's prolly easier to just name the things that weren't replaced. Tires, chasis, rims, interior, exhaust (Catlytic converter was replaced however as well and spark plugs)
