I bought my RX8 40th anniversary edition 6 months ago and after driving from Glasgow to London and back again (roughly 850 miles), on the way back when I was pulling out of the service station after re-fueling I heard a horrible grinding noise from the back of the car.
Got this checked tonight and my rear brake pads/discs have worn down. Now that I think of it, on the way down to London the brakes were stuttering when I pressed them.
Now, I'm trying to figure out how this could've happened so fast... the car was serviced and passed an MOT 6 months ago - and now the pads/discs are worn? Any idea why this could be? Unless they were worn down when I bought the car.
Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.
