Traction control light stays on.

So my 05 RX8 has an unusual problem. The traction control light, the Orange one in the middle of the tach, stays on. Doesn't matter if I reset the ecu, remove the battery etc it just isn't playing the game. Abs still works, and I still have to turn the wheel full left then full right to clear the TCS OFF light when I remove the battery, but tcs still isn't working. The fuse under the bonnet is fine too. Any ideas?
