Short video showing cold/hot starts and a bit of driving:
History: I bought this car about 5 years ago from the local Mazda dealership when it had 27k miles on it. Currently it has about 69k on it. The reason I am selling is I simply do not drive it anymore. I got a new job about a year ago at the Post Office and while the RX-8 excels at many things delivering mail would not be one of them. Since I always need my other vehicle at work I can no longer daily drive my RX-8 so outside of a bit of driving on Sundays I no longer use it. I am also planning to buy a house later this year and extra money for a down payment would be helpful. Basically nothing is wrong with the car it just feels a bit silly to keep something around I never use.
Maintenance has always been completely up to date. I have all records from my ownership.
-Coils / Plugs / Wires, rear diff and transmission fluid was all last changed at 55k miles.
-Oil has always been changed every 3k
-Always 91+ gas
-Replaced front pads/rotors last year.
-Up to date on all recalls including the recent airbag one.
The only major problem I ever had was the catalytic converter failing, which I had replaced last year under warranty.

The Bad:
- Low Coolant Warning light is stuck on due to a broken sensor
- Dashboard is cracking above passenger airbag cover
- Some minor dings on the passenger side as well as a scratch on the hood.
- Carpet on the drivers side is wearing out because I hate using floor mats.
- Could use new tires. Current ones have been on the car for 42k miles. Due to the age one of them has developed a slow air leak.
- Does not have factory air pump or lug wrench
If you have any questions feel free to PM me or email me at Jacob6875@gmail.com.
I am asking $6800 for it which I think is pretty fair. Both Edmunds and KBB value the car higher in good/average condition.
