Non-Detergent safe for one use?

Oil light came on this morning in my way to work. Went to the first gas station I could to put some oil in to suffice untill my oil change in 900 miles. All they had was a generic non-detergent 30. It was my only option so I got it. Am I okay just using it once? I read people saying don't use it. But I mean will one bottle be harmful? I use Castrol gtx 5w-20 any other time and for changes. So Will a couple quarts hurt? Thanks guys
