My 2004 rx 8 dies while driving

I have a 2004 rx 8 with 160,000Km and I was driving it with the traction control off and I was driving it a little hard I did a couple peel outs then I was driving and was turning a corner I put it in second revved high and dropped the clutch did a little drift and I kept going and about ten seconds after I lost power and the car shut off. It's never happened to me before so I pulled over and started it back up and traction control was back on and everything was ok I drove away and it ran fine, do I have a problem? I don't get why it would just shut off
