I own a 2008 GT RX-8 the car has been driving fine up until Sunday. I drove down the road shifted through all gears fine and then the transmission got stuck in 5th gear the gearnob still moves freely as though there car is in neutral but when you attempt to start the car it just leaps forward unless you put your foot on the clutch.
I have checked fluids and they seem fine I am wondering if a mazda warranty will cover it or if I am in for buying a new gearbox?:banghead:
