Hi guys!
I just bought myself an RX-8 wich had a reman installed the day before i bought it.(Also had the clutch, radiator and thermostat replaced)
I drove the care home and the next day I got a CEL, i took it to my local Mazda dealer to pull the codes and they were P0076 and P0061. I've read around the forum and now know that they are related to the solenoids on the intake manifold.
I have a 6000km/6month warranty on the car so I'll have it fixed at the dealership, I'm just wondering if I should be worried about driving the car for the next week or two with this problem? Couldn't really find anything about the symptoms I might expect, or wich further damage might be caused by driving.
Also is it likely that this problem is a result of the job they did, bad parts on the reman or reused parts that just happened to fail now?
The dealership which replaced the engine is kind of far away, thats why I'm not going there to get it fixed immediatley.`
Thanks alot for any advice! :)
