I moved into a new apartment and have underground parking. The ramp is VERY steep (measured at 10.4 degrees), and sadly my car scrapes going up and down the ramp.
To be fair I am lowered on coils and have just under a one finger gap on 18" rims....
I looked online and this is about a 1:5.5 gradient and the articles I came across recommend ramps be 1:10 or 1:12 gradients. The problems are these just seem to be recommendations and I can't find anything in building codes. There is a very small and minor 24'' pre ramp that might be a couple of degrees, but it is still much steeper then the recommendations.
Besides the obvious, raising my car, do I have any recourse here?
