Hi everyone im new here, good that there are communities like this forum!
Got my ' 05 titanium gray about a year ago at 75k and im still in love with it (ofcourse..)

even though im expierincing some power loss (my guess its CAT since one of my passengers once said it was really hot near his left leg, although ive checked under the car a couple times and have never seen it glowing hot).
So ofcourse i went to do a compression test to rule out bad engine. The certified Mazda mechanic i called was well aware of our rotary compression problems so i fully trusted he knew what he was doing. After i picked up the car he told me the compression was very good for 82k, and the loss of power must be due to something else. As much as i like to believe him, i think he didnt do it right (my guess is he used a piston compression tester).
This was the result sheet he gave me (the little thingie):

As you can see on the second picture he DID compare it with the rotary sheet, and he seemed to have followed the DIY provided by mazda. Anyone know what to make of this. Il probably be going back there. :)
Anyway good to be part of the community!
