One rotor clean, one dirty. Why?

dimanche 6 novembre 2016

When I pulled out my rotors, the rear rotor was relatively clean, and the front rotor was pretty much completely encrusted in carbon. I'm just curious how that could happen. The rotor that was clean was in the housing that had the broken seal, letting coolant into the housing. But why would a dribble of coolant cause that rotor to be clean?
