I have a question for you guys in the know that I haven't seen answered anywhere.
I have noticed that the new Mazda 3 and Mazda 6 that were released with the SKYACTIV-VEHICLE DYNAMICS with G-Vectoring Control have shown a large decrease in fuel mileage.
Examples:
2016 Mazda 6 Grand Touring:
City - 28 mpg
Highway - 40 mpg
Combined - 33 mpg
2017 Mazda 6 Grand Touring:
City - 27 mpg
Highway - 35 mpg
Combined - 31 mpg
2016 Mazda 6 Touring:
City - 26 mpg
Highway - 37 mpg
Combined - 31 mpg
2017 Mazda 6 Touring:
City - 26 mpg
Highway - 35 mpg
Combined - 30 mpg
2016 Mazda 3 Sport Sedan (2.0):
City - 30 mpg
Highway - 41 mpg
Combined - 35 mpg
2017 Mazda 3 Sport Sedan (2.0):
City - 28 mpg
Highway - 37 mpg
Combined - 32 mpg
So, anyone know what's going on?
The cars haven't gained weight, hp, or changed gearing in any way that I can see, but their fantastic fuel mileage has dropped noticeably.
