So I recently installed my Ings+1 bidy kit and the front bumper does not work with the stock crash bar. Sure it (crash bar) can be modified to work, but I eventually plan on redoing the whole crash bar when I put on my front splitter. The front splitter wont be done untill late next year probably.
So my question is, besides an impact, would not having the crash bar on put any abnormal stresses on any other part of the front end? The only other horizontal support would be the radiator support which doesnt do anything for chassis rigidity. Im thinking that most of the bracing between the front fenders would be the front subframe. Im thinking that the crash bar doesnt do anything but prevent low mph impacts from disturbing crutial engine parts. But I dont know everything and would like some other opinions.
Im only going to drive the car a few months without it (normal street driving) and dont want to risk tweaking anything up front.
