System 1 Oil filter for 13B

Ok, so Im looking for options to better my Mazda. I spoke to someone on the phone at Paradise Racing who claims that this oil filter will last several years by just cleaning the filter. The filter will also increase oil pressure. Does increasing the oil pressure make the rotary run better, smoother, more efficiently? When I spoke to somebody there today, I asked if this would work on a Series 2, since his website says it works for a RX8( no series specification) . He told me he would have to research it. Any who, I may take the risk for I could save money down the line by not having buying authentic series 2 oil filters. My post is mainly centered around the inquiry of if the benefits are truly merited. Could this filter really better my mazda? Im not looking for a dramatic change, just pursuing a feeling of knowing my rx8 is more realiable after the install. Thanks
