Shopping for an 8, I asked one seller how often he tops up the oil. His response:
"I don't believe in top up's I think full oil changes are better because it prevents sludge build up, when oil burns it only gets thicker which causes a thicker Viscosity SAE in kinematic (kv) and absolute (cSt) terms. Rotary Engines automatically taps oil from the system to inject into the rotors (in the engine) to lubricate them that why everyone thinks it burns oil, however it you stay on top your oil changes the rotary engine is absolutely bulletproof. There defiantly a science behind this car but it drives like no other, smooth like cream"
I don't even know how to respond.
