Would love to find a new home for my 8. I got a job in DC that is starting in June, and from what I hear it's one of the worst places to own a car in America (See my thread in the newbie forums....)
If you are looking for a deal on a car with some issues, this is not the one for you. If you are looking for a super clean example of a stock series 1 that you can depend on, this is your car. As far as options, the car has Brown/Black leather, power sunroof w/shade, power/heated seat, professionally installed aux jack, keyless entry with the 'credit card' key, and all the exterior cosmetic goodies.
The engine was last compression tested in 2010 at a dealership and passed with flying colors, and it is running perfectly today. Since I got the car, the only work that needed to be done was the clutch slave cylinder was replaced (and the brake master cylinder along with it).
The only exterior issues are a small dent on the front bumper to the left of the Mazda emblem (pictured), and a tiny parking ding in the drivers side suicide door (didn't show up in pictures). Some rock chips on the bottom of the front bumper from highway driving. Nothing noticeable from 5+ feet away. Wheels look great but have minor curb scuffing. There are NO issues mechanically, everything works great!
Right now the car is only listed here on rx8club! Asking $9900. The car is in Boston right now, but I occasionally am making trips down to DC for apartment hunting and such, so if you live somewhere along the northeast corridor and are flexible with timing I might be able to drop the car off for you!
