To start, I have an '04 MT with only a few mods/upgrades done....Air filter upgraded to K&N, BHR style ignition (from what I can gather), upgraded starter, niche wheels...nothing fancy... just a decent 8. :icon_tup:
First, I THINK I have tried all the easy fixes for this that I can find on here. I have went through all the connectors I could to check for corrosion or fouling as well as both ground points and all fuses. I have even went as far as to run a continuity check on the entire system leg by leg...took about 3 hours to do. Every single area came back with good readings. I have also used dielectric grease on all five connectors (the white on the negative line, the two gray intermediates and the two at the steering rack). I have tried clearing the codes via the right/left wheel move...still nothing.
What I have not done...
-Code Check via OBDII or dealer
-Voltage test of circuits...having the battery hooked up to an exposed pcm/esm case made me nervous
-Replaced any component
Sooo....
Any ideas? Any help or thought of a direction I could take at this point would help...am about to buy a new intermediate harness to see if that will do the trick but would love to solve this with out it.
