I was cleaning up left over parts from my engine rebuild and took a look at the front cover to see how the OMP was supplied oil.
Looks like it relies solely on oil getting flung off the timing chain and pulled through this tiny port. really?

the other smaller port looks to be for the OMP drive shaft lubrication.
It looks like one could easily (with the cover off) drill and tap the port passage for a fitting and run off an external supply of oil. The existing inlet will need to be plugged of course. It looks like just enough room to route a line just under the t-stat housing and behind the cover to the passage. Would be a hell of alot cheaper than buying an adapter......if it is already apart that is.
