Need oil metering pump sensor

Hi all,

I have a rx8 2004 manual transmission. recently had a mechanic do an engine rebuilt. the car won't turn on unless we push start it which would then turn on and die if left to idle. After researching here my guess is the mechanic didn't put the fuel wiring correctly so he will try that next. any other suggesting would be great.

Now, He also found that my oil metering pump sensor was broken, I was wondering if you guys knew where I can get the sensor with out the actual pump? I have been searching online but all the results come with the actual pump and sensor which can get pretty pricey.
