I've been lurking on here I don't talk to much but I'd like to start joining the fun I've had my 8 for 2 years I love it and I've been into working on cars since I was 9 with my older brother first car was a 97 impreza I put all the nice little rs touches on it and a basic little td04 from a wrx ran great! Traded it off for a 90 240sx took the single cammer jammer out put in the ka24de boosted it with a cheap ebay setup (bad idea probably did I care no it's a 240 lol theyer drove hard and put up wet and break a lot) and welded the diff fun car nothin like pullin into high school sideways lol then I got a 86 rx7 and my rotary love began I absolutely loved it parts cheap and plentiful easy to wrench on sounded like a Yamaha banshee lol but I saw the rx8 at a dealer and stopped by asking 11k 56xxx miles started asking some questions (has it been compression checked recently, why does it have 5 previous owners etc lol) got it for 9k 😃 double checked everything new coils plugs wires and fresh oil and coolant and ever since I just lurk around on hear reading but now I have the car payed off and like to get more involved
