{ FS } OEM Flywheel **Like New**

I purchased the flywheel from Mazmart...went to remove my old flywheel and realized my old flywheel is just fine. So I no longer need this spare. Honest this is new, they told me they pulled it out of a series 2 which very low miles, and then lightly refinished it.

I'd prefer local pick up in Baltimore, MD, but willing to ship as well. Buyer has to pay shipping costs.

Curious on if I can get any money for engine

I just bought a 04 rx-8 with 137k on it and the engine is now starting to go. I bought it knowing about the issue. The guy said it has a leaking water jacket seal. From what i'm told the engine isn't rusted out and still starts. Let's say the engine isn't rusted, do you guy's think it would be worth anything at all? If so how much? Thanks!

Bolt-In AutoPower Bar for Future STX Car

So, I've been reading a lot trying to work out if it's worth it or not to get a bolt in Auto Power Roll bar to use as a harness bar. Next season I plan on running CS probably the entire season, but next winter I'd like to prep my car for STX. I'm too tall to stick with the stock seats and would like to go aftermarket so I'll sit lower, but then I'll need harnesses and that means I'll need a harness bar and a rollbar/cage seems to be the only way to accomplish this because of the lack of b-pillar.

So, for those of you who have or who have avoided getting a bolt-in roll bar, what do you think? I've done a lot of research already. Most people give the "just get a weld in cage", but that's not really going to be an option just yet for me. I could do the weld in auto power bar, but my car has a sun roof so once I strip the interior I'll have to replace it for better fitment. My plan is too eventually do a full cage, but that's going to be much much farther down the line and I'll probably be running STX for 2 to 3 seasons before that transformation even begins to take place.

My car is going to be primarily some street use, AutoX and some light track duty if that helps to know. The main 2 tracks I go to max out at around 90 mph for one and around 70 for the other, so not too fast (in comparisson to other cars and other tracks) but now that I have a car with a roof I'd like to get out to VIR or Summit Point some time since they aren't that far from me.

Starting engine cold weird noises.

Hey there people. I'm making this thread because recently in the past week when my car is cold it making a lot of noises.
So when you start it it's perfectly fine kicks over easy as! But soon as it starts you hear a great deal of popping noises around the exhaust area and you can feel the vibrations under your seat. Then about 30 seconds later you start to smell this really really bad odour! Worse the usual smell you get Then about 45 seconds it drops from 1 and a half thousand revs to 600 then bounces back to normal then everything is fine after about 1 min then warms up fine after that. The car is a 2004 model had 124000 ks new spark plugs and leads have cleaned the intake system and throttle body and has had fuel injector service done about 10000ks ago. Oil change has always been done every 5000ks and I have only had the car for about 7 months Any help would be appreciated thanks

Extreme Heat and Fumes

2007 RX-8 6 Speed GT Stock

My problem started happening at the 2000k mark of a cross country road trip. Car filled with trans fluid fumes and the heat in the cabin was extremely high. Also my clutch pedal lost hydraulics.I am assuming from the heat changing its consistency. Cat sensor read 1800 F. It was so freaking hot that it melted my carpet and chair rail plastic on the passenger side.

Got it to Mazda and they rebuilt the motor under warranty. Said it was misfiring and dumping fuel into the intake and down to the cat. All new plugs, wires, coils, and new clutch.

Drove it for 1500 miles with no issues and now its back again. When I push it to redline once the cars warmed up I smell trans fluid strong in the cabin and heats flowing up from the console and i start loosing hydraulics in the clutch. Still shifts fine, just the pedal almost drops to the floor.

Any help will be appreciated .

{ FS } Seibon carbon fiber trunk

For sale I have a seibon carbon fiber trunk. It is perfectly functional and fits perfect. This trunk is lighter than the stock one.

It had a chip on the right side and some stains in the carbon fiber that can be buffed out. The chip was sloppily patched with carbon fiber weave and resin. It only needs to be sanded flat and re clear coated in that spot or painted.

Other than that the trunk is structurally perfect and fits perfect. Just needs sanding and re clear or paint.
