Help!!
I need help with my 8. I had some bodywork done to my car and apparently something wasn't connected right. My window switches, door locks, or the display are not working. Does anyone have an idea as to what it might be?
Metra issue with time on dash
Hey all, I'm having an issue with my Metra adaptor. I seen to be gaining a minute or so every day on my clock. Sure, the time is my head unit now but I'd like them to match.
Is there a way to fix this? Or remove time all together? I see an option to turn off temp but not time.

holinger sg3 trans
So I was directed from a friend on facebook to look into a tranny he wants to get in the near future to autocross with. I don't autocross really but just a weekend driver and some occasional daily driving. Has anyone heard of these trannys? And I emailed them for pricing, as I do believe they make an rx8 bell housing, so it could be a minor modification to mounts and some wire splicing, but I am just curious if anyone knows any more than I do when it comes to mounting this in an 8. Any help will be appreciated! My other alternative is an s2 tranny but I hate to have an s1 rear end, so I am trying to figure out what to do once I see pricing. I am guessing the holinger will be enough to make me run and hide but I will see :)

new rebuild problem diagnosis help
This isn't really a new member forum appropriate post, but seeing as I have no choice due to my post count, here goes.
I've been rebuilding my rx8 series 1 car for the past 6 months in my spare time and have pretty much finished, apart from being able to get it started! I would really appreciate some constructive help on how to fix/diagnose what my problem is. I've mostly been using the UK owners site for help over this process but the ideas have dried up so I thought I would try here.
The Rebuild includes brand new housings, full atkins rebuild kit including bearings, new D585 coils (earthed them under the airbox tray), new magnecor leads and spark plugs and sohn adapter.
I can't get the car started on the starter motor which is spinning at 280rpm, I've tried adding 2 stroke oil in to the chambers too. The car will tow start, but won't idle. It will stall if I take my foot off the accelerator. If I keep my foot on the accelerator, it will really struggle to move the car in 1st gear. I can only get it crawling then it will stall on me. If I just sit there holding the revs, it will cut out after a few minutes.
Over the process of trying to get it started, I've had 2 CELS: P0335 - Crankshaft Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction and P2096 - Target AF feedback system too lean - right bank.
Things I have Checked:
- Fuel injectors plugged in correctly (done this twice now, checked with wiring diagram)
- ECU plugged in securly
- Hoses plugged in correctly
- Cleaned MAF
- Cleaned ES position sensor - did 20 pedal stomp to reset
Here are some videos of starting and poor man compression test:

Rear:
The low readings concern me - but I have been told the compression should go up once the engine is bedded in? Also told a conventional compression tester might not be entirely accurate for rotarys?

Hi am new to the site having bought my Rex last week. My first question might sound stupid but I have just bought new coils and leads and wondered which lead is the longer one, leading or trailing? Any help would be great
